Ten types of w88

Recognizing inappropriate behavior so that we can eliminate it. University policies prohibit w88 based on a person's age, disability, gender, military status or military obligations, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, national origin, race, color, or religion.

Below are ten types of w88.

  1. Age w88. Policies prohibit unfairly considering a person's age when making employment or educational decisions or harassing or mistreating a student, employee, or applicant w88 age.
  2. Disability. Policies require the reasonable accommodation of individuals with disabilities unless such accommodations would impose an undue burden on the institution, or would fundamentally alter the program in question. Individuals cannot be treated unfairly w88 an actual or perceived physical or mental disability.
  3. w88/sexual orientation. An individual cannot be treated differently or less favorably because of their gender. Sexual orientation w88 includes being treated differently or harassed because of your real or perceived sexual orientation—whether gay, lesbian, bisexual, heterosexual or other.
  4. w88 identity/w88 expression. Policies prohibit w88 based on gender identity—an individual's self-identified gender, versus anatomical sex at birth. Gender expression w88 (relating to a person's behavior, mannerisms, interests, or appearance as linked to gender) is also prohibited.
  5. Genetic w88. Genetic w88 cannot be used to make employment or academic decisions. Genetic w88 includes w88 about an individual’s genetic tests as well as family medical history. However, in certain circumstances, it may be permissible to acquire family medical history as part of the certification process for FMLA.
  6. w88/military obligations. w88 prohibit discriminatory treatment of students or employees based on past, present, or future service in the "uniformed services," whether involuntarily or voluntarily.
  7. National origin. Policies prohibit the unequal treatment of individuals because they are from a particular country or part of the world, w88 ethnicity or accent, or because they appear to be of a certain ethnic background (even if they are not).
  8. Religion. University policies prohibit w88 or harassment of individuals because of their religious beliefs. The University will reasonably accommodate the religious needs of its employees and students if such accommodation does not pose an undue burden on the University.
  9. Race/color. Racial w88 occurs when an individual is subjected to unequal treatment or harassment because of their color, or their actual or perceived race. Policies or practices that have a disproportionately negative impact on members of a particular race may be considered discriminatory, even if they appear neutral.
  10. Retaliation. It is unlawful to treat an individual negatively because that individual has,in good faith, exercised their rights under the policy to complain of allegeddiscrimination or sexual w88, or has provided information in an investigation about behavior that may violate University policies.

You have the right to report unlawful w88 to the University. To file a report, or to inquire about accommodations or resources, call the office at (775) 784-1547, email us at eotix@unr.edu, or file a report online.
