Summary

Sofía Sánchez is a second-year Graduate Teaching Assistant in the w88 casino, Reno's Spanish Literature Master's Program. Sofía graduated from the w88 casino, Reno, Honors in the Spring of 2023 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Spanish, and is the recipient of the Latino Research Center's 2023 La Promesa Award. Sofía plans on pursuing a career in academia researching how historical colonialism and contemporary imperialism have shaped the collective and individual psyches of individuals in marginalized communities in both the United States and Latin America.

• The relationship between decolonization, sociopolitical equality, and collective psychological healing

• Research Assistant in the DICE Center (Dissemination and Implementation of Culturally Sensitive, Evidence-based psychological services) investigating:
