Section III: Core Values and Prohibited Conduct
A. Core Values
The w88 sports betting has established regulations and policies for student conduct that support the core educational mission of the w88 sports betting, students, and student organizations. The core values addressed in the Code are integrity, respect for community, accountability, and mutual responsibility.
B. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited and violates our w88 sports betting Community standards and may subject a student or student organization to disciplinary sanction(s) under the Code:
- Cheating; or assisting others in cheating (see Definition 5).
- Plagiarism; or assisting others in plagiarizing (see Definition 20).
- Attempts to obtain and/or earn grades under false pretenses.
- Other acts of dishonesty not specified herein.
- Knowingly furnishing false information to any w88 sports betting or NSHE official, faculty member, or office.
- Attempted or actual forgery, alteration, misuse, theft, destruction, or using without permission, any w88 sports betting or NSHE property, document, or record.
- Knowingly furnishing false information in documents submitted to the w88 sports betting or NSHE.
- Acting as an agent or representative of the w88 sports betting or NSHE without authorization.
- Voter Fraud (see Definition 37).
- Failure of the student to present proper credentials, student identification card, driver's license, or parking registration, to w88 sports betting officials upon their request.
- Disorderly conduct (see Definition 10). Disorderly conduct does not include disruptive behavior in the classroom (see UAM 6,502).
- Lewd conduct or indecent exposure.
- Unauthorized use of w88 sports betting technology (see Definition 33).
- False reporting of emergency situations (see Definition 14).
- The unauthorized possession, loan, modification, or distribution of keys, pass cards, or w88 sports betting identification cards.
- Unauthorized or unlawful entry or access to w88 sports betting or NSHE facilities and/or unauthorized use of w88 sports betting or NSHE property or facilities for unintended purposes, including buildings and grounds.
- The reproduction, manufacturing, or duplication of any key, pass card, w88 sports betting or NSHE identification card or unlocking device for use on w88 sports betting or NSHE facilities or locks without proper authorization.
- Willful incitement of individuals to violate the Code, w88 sports betting policy, or policy of the NSHE (see Definition 38).
- Attempted or actual theft, possession, destruction, damage, or misuse of w88 sports betting or NSHE property or property belonging to another w88 sports betting or NSHE community member.
- Intentionally making an accusation that is false or is made with reckless disregard for the truth against any member of the w88 sports betting or NSHE community by filing a complaint or charge under this Code or with the Title IX/Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Office or under any applicable complaint or grievance procedure of the w88 sports betting or NSHE.
- Verbal abuse, intimidation, coercion, or bullying which is sufficiently severe or pervasive to interfere with or limit another student's ability to participate in or benefit from the educational services, activities, or opportunities offered by the w88 sports betting.
- Interference by force, threat, or duress with the lawful freedom of movement of persons or vehicles on w88 sports betting or NSHE owned or leased property.
- Resisting or obstructing w88 sports betting or other public officials in the performance of their duties.
- Failure to comply with the directions of w88 sports betting officials acting in accordance with their duties and/or failure to identify oneself to these persons when requested to do so.
- Violation of w88 sports betting policies and regulations governing: (1) residence in w88 sports betting owned or controlled property; or (2) access to and use of all w88 sports betting facilities.
- The use of, or threat to use, force, violence, intimidation, blackmail, coercion and/or conduct that threatens or endangers the health or safety of any member or guest of the w88 sports betting Community.
- Acts of physical force or disruptive acts which interfere with institutional activities, freedom of movement on the campuses, freedom for students to pursue their studies, freedom of speech, freedom to be heard, and freedom to pursue research of their own choosing.
- Use, possession, brew, manufacture, and/or distribution of alcoholic beverages without authorization (except as expressly permitted by w88 sports betting or NSHE regulations, such as the "Alcoholic Beverage Policy").
- Use, possession, brew, manufacture, and/or distribution of alcoholic beverage(s) by a person less than 21 years of age or distribution of alcoholic beverage(s) to a person less than 21 years of age.
- Public intoxication.
- Use, possession, cultivation, manufacturing, and/or distribution of marijuana (including for medical purposes), unauthorized controlled substances, and/or unauthorized prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia (including for medical purposes) on any w88 sports betting, NSHE, or NSHE foundation owned or leased property, or at any w88 sports betting or NSHE sponsored or authorized activity.
- Use, possession, manufacture, distribution, and/or purchase of unauthorized controlled substances, and/or unauthorized prescription drugs by an unauthorized person on any w88 sports betting, NSHE, or NSHE foundation owned or leased property, or at any w88 sports betting or NSHE sponsored or authorized activity (see Definition 2).
- Distribution and/or sale of authorized controlled substances, and/or authorized prescription drugs, to any unauthorized person on any w88 sports betting, NSHE, or NSHE foundation owned or leased property, or at any w88 sports betting or NSHE sponsored or authorized activity (see Definition 32).
- Smoking or tobacco use, use of electronic cigarettes, rolled cigarettes, pipes, and vapor products in any area of campus, at any w88 sports betting event, w88 sports betting facility, or in areas where tobacco use is prohibited.
- Any other conduct that violates applicable stated prohibitions, policies, procedures, rules, or regulations of the w88 sports betting or NSHE.
- Any act or actions committed by a student and/or student organization prohibited by local, state, or federal law or state mandate or directive.
- Contempt of student disciplinary proceedings (see Definition 7).
- Failure to comply with the terms of any disciplinary sanction(s) imposed in accordance with the Code.
- Failure to comply with any Emergency Removal imposed in accordance with the Code.
- Knowing possession on any property of the University or NSHE of any electronic stun device as defined by w88 casino Revised Statutes, firearms, explosives, incendiary devices, dangerous chemicals, machetes or other instruments of destruction, or other dangerous weapons prohibited by the laws of the State of w88 casino, without the written authorization of the President or the President's authorized agent.
- Continued occupation of buildings, structures, grounds, or property belonging to or occupied by the w88 sports betting or NSHE after having been ordered to leave by the President, the President's designee, the Chancellor, or the Chancellor’s designee.
- The use of threats or violence against a faculty or staff member or the faculty or staff member's family to secure preferential treatment for grades, loans, employment, or other services or privileges accorded by the w88 sports betting.
- Interference with or failure to comply with any interim measure or directive issued by the w88 sports betting.
- Failure to follow the w88 sports betting’s UAM (w88 sports betting Administrative Manual) policies on use of animals and service animals (see UAM 5,470) and/or to prevent or remove an animal that is under the control of the student from disrupting the learning environment.
- Non-Title IX unlawful discrimination based upon a finding and recommendation from the w88 sports betting’s Equal Opportunity & Title IX Office.
- Non-Title IX unlawful harassment based upon a finding and recommendation from the w88 sports betting’s Equal Opportunity & Title IX Office.
- Any act of Retaliation against someone who reports or participates in any w88 sports betting or NSHE investigation or process (see Definition 22).
- Acts of bullying or cyberbullying, which refers to unwanted and malicious behavior which undermines an individual or group through persistently negative attacks. The behavior is calculated to undermine, patronize, humiliate, intimidate, or demean the recipient.
- Acts of Non-Title IX Sexual Harassment (see Definition 26).
- Acts of Sexual Harassment under Title IX (see Definition 27).
- Acts of Sexual Violence (see Definition 28).
- Dating Violence (see Definition 8).
- Domestic Violence (see Definition 12).
- Stalking (see Definition 29).
- The unlawful dissemination of an intimate image of another person, without the other person’s consent, with the intent to harass, harm, or terrorize the other person. This prohibition includes dissemination through social media or other digital or electronic means.
- Any acts of Hazing (see Definition 16).
- Interacting with feral or wild animals on campus, such as, but not limited to, petting, feeding, watering, building shelters, and providing medication and/or housing on or in w88 sports betting or NSHE leased or owned property.
- Any act that involves the use or attempted use of sabotage, coercion, or violence which is intended to cause great bodily harm or death to the general population or cause substantial destruction, contamination, or impairment of any w88 sports betting Property.
- Any unauthorized use of Manzanita Lake such as, but not limited to, swimming, boating, fishing, use of remote-controlled vehicles/model boats, use of flotation devices, or disturbance of wildlife, birds, and vegetation.
- Surreptitious recording, which refers to any unauthorized use of electronic or other devices to make a video, audio/video, or audio only recording of any person without that person’s prior knowledge, on w88 sports betting owned, leased, or controlled properties, including the w88 sports betting residential halls, is prohibited. Electronic or other devices shall include, a handheld recorder, cell phone, smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other electronic device.
