Summary

I am currently a Junior at the University of Nevada, Reno pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience with a minor in American Sign Language. I participated in two research projects under the NASA Community of Practice at Western Nevada College in biomedical and robotics research. Through the Nevada ENDURE w88 online game, I completed ten weeks of research at the University of California, Berkeley on a project using electrophysiology to determine the effects of potassium channel expression on resting membrane potential. Currently, I am pursuing research on olfaction in Dr. Dennis Mathews lab at the University of Nevada, Reno.
