Drop-in or schedule an w88 with a CLA Advisor

The College of Liberal Arts offers both w88 and scheduled appointments to accommodate the diverse needs and schedules of our students. See which option is right for you and connect with our office at your convenience.

Winter Break: December 23 – January 10

The Liberal Arts Student Center is open and advising during winter break. Please check below for instructions on how to schedule an advising w88. The building may be locked. If you have an in-person w88, please call us at (775) 682-8745 and we will let you in.

January 13-31: All-access advising

During the first three weeks of the semester, we advise students exclusively through all-access w88 advising.

  • Open to all students
  • We do not w88 individual appointments during this time.
  • Monday-Friday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4 p.m.
  • Location:Zoomand in-person on the third floor of Lincoln Hall in 314

  • Please note there will be no morning advising on Monday, January 15.

February 3 – May 30: Express advising or individual appointments

For the rest of the semester, we offer two types of advising:Express w88 advising or individual appointments.

Express w88 advising

Express w88 sessions operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and slots may fill up before the session ends. Meetings are limited to 15 minutes with an advisor.

Schedule an w88

Self-w88 online via Navigate

This option is only available to students who presently have a major or minor in Liberal Arts. If you are planning to declare into the College of Liberal Arts, please call our front office to schedule an w88.

  1. Log in: Net ID & password
  2. Click on "Schedule an w88"
  3. Under Service, select “CLA Student Center” and choose an option that describes why you’re coming in.
  4. Click “Find available time” to move forward with selecting an w88 slot.
  5. You should receive a confirmation email almost immediately, which means you have scheduled successfully. You can also confirm that you’ve scheduled successfully by viewing your w88 under “Upcoming Appointments” on your Navigate home page or in the Navigate student app.
