  • Academic year 2025-26 housing application opens (incoming first-year students, w88 slot students, transfer students, etc.). All students must pay the 0 down payment at the time of application or work with our staff to enter into a "deferred payment agreement." Only applications with a "complete" status will be eligible to participate in the room self-selection, roommate and assignment process

January

• Roommate group w88 slot opens | Jan 15, 2025
  • w88 slot will be able to form roommate groups through the student w88 slot portal (maximum of 3 w88 slot per roommate group) from January 15 through February 2, 2025

  • Priority w88 slot date closes for 2025-2026 housing. All students who submit a "completed" w88 slot by this date can self-select their building/room in the student housing portal starting Feb 21, 2025
  • Prospective and w88 slot Students are welcome to apply for 2025-2026 housing. Students with a "completed" application can self-select their building/room in the student housing portal starting mid-April

March

• Lottery time slots are emailed to w88 slot who applied by priority deadline | Mar 6, 2025
  • w88 slot should check their University email for lottery times
• Prospective and w88 slot Students are welcome to apply for 2025-2026 housing | Ongoing
  • Students with a "completed" w88 slot can self-select their building/room in the student housing portal starting mid-April

  • 0 down payment (applied to fall semester housing charges) is due for all applications, with the exception of w88 slot who were provided a written waiver of this requirement.
  • Deadline for students with a "completed" w88 slot to self-select their building/room in the student housing portal
    • w88 slot who apply for housing after June 15 will receive their room assignments and move in details mid-July
  • Deadline to cancel your housing w88 slot without penalty. Students who don't pay by June 15 (and who do not have a written waiver) risk having their housing assignment canceled and are subject to cancellation fees as listed in the license agreement. Cancellation requests received after this date are subject to the terms in the license agreement.
  • Guarantor form due - any student under 18 at the time of w88 slot must submit the guarantor form
• University Deadlines | w88 slot 15, 2025
  • Acceptance of admission to the University of Nevada, Reno due
  • Proof of meningitis vaccination due. The University must have this proof on file prior to the student moving into on-campus w88 slot.

July

• w88 slot assignment for Academic Year 2025-2026 | July 15, 2025
  • w88 slot who have applied before June 15 can self-select pending space availability and will receive their w88 slot assignment and move in details.
  • w88 slot who have applied after June 15 will receive their w88 slot assignments and move in details.
• w88 slot change portal opens | July 22, 2025
  • Room change request period opens for all assigned w88 slot. Requests can be made through the student w88 slot portal starting July 22 w88 slot July 31, 2025.
  • w88 slot change requests will be processed in the order they are received pending availability. It may not be possible to accommodate all requests.

August

• Meal plan w88 slot request opens | Aug 1, 2025
  • Meal plan change request period runs August 1 through September 12, 2025 - students are allowed a lifestyle meal plan change through the third week of each semester, only upgrades are allowed after that date. To request a meal plan change, please visit the student housing portal and complete the meal plan change academic year w88 slot
• NevadaFIT move-in | Aug 14 - 16, 2025
  • Residence halls open for NevadaFIT, visit our move-in day page
• NevadaFit opening ceremony and start to NevadaFit | Aug 17, 2025

October

• Spring only w88 slot opens | Oct 1,2025
  • This Spring w88 slot is available for all incoming students (first-year students, continuing students, transfer students, etc.). Students currently living on campus do not need to fill out a new w88 slot for the Spring semester

• Living Learning Community (LLC) w88 slot selection begins | Feb 15, 2026
  • Students who applied by February 2, have a "completed" housing w88 slot status, and have an email confirmation for a Living Learning Community as their housing choice will be assigned a room selection lottery time slot for room self selection starting February 21 through February 28, 2026
