Eligible w88 students at Nevada are invited to apply for one or more of these awards. Amounts vary based on the number of recipients but generally range from 0 to ,000.

Recipients are announced in mid-April, and the annual awards ceremony takes place in early May.

How to apply for w88

  • You must complete the w88 application in MyNevada to be eligible for any w88, including those for which faculty may nominate you. The application form must be completed annually between October 1 and May 31. There is a strong preference for those who complete this form by the February 1 priority deadline.
  • In order to be considered for w88 that require or prefer financial need, you must complete the FAFSA or, for non-FAFSA eligible students, the institutional methodology form annually between October 1 and February 1.
  • Use a separate Department of w88 scholarship form for each application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

James H. MacMillan w88 Full-time undergraduate (12+ credits) or graduate (6+ credits) student in any major, w88 the best poem or piece of prose about Nevada. Undergraduate minimum 2.75 GPA, graduate minimum 3.0 GPA. This scholarship is not renewable. w88 a story, essay, or sequence of poems. Limit 2,500 words.
J. Lee Taylor Creative w88 Scholarship Full-time undergraduate w88 major with minimum 3.0 GPA. Submit a 5-10 page sample of creative w88 in any genre.
Department of English Critical w88 Award Full-time or part-time undergraduate major in English, w88 an essay applying contemporary critical theory to a major work or group of related works in British, American, or other Anglophone literature. May be a course assignment but should be revised if necessary for a university-level general readership. This award is not renewable. w88 your essay. Limit 2,500 words.
DQ Award Full-time or part-time undergraduate w88 major. w88 3-5 poems or a short work of fiction up to 15 pages in length.
