Associate w88 online game, Research and Graduate Affairs

The Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Affairs assists the Dean in matters relating to research and graduate program administration of the w88 online game. The Associate Dean will advance the research mission of the w88 online game, identifying strategic research opportunities and developing internal processes which enhance efficiency surrounding research needs. The position will support the University’s R1 status and enhance other strategic initiatives. The position will oversee and manage the Engineering Research Office. The Associate Dean will support graduate student programs and graduate affairs. The Associate Dean will serve as a liaison with the graduate school and Vice President for Research and Innovation (VPRI) to resolve issues and identify areas for enhancement and new program development.

Key responsibilities:

Assistant w88 online game for Assessment, Compliance and Evaluation

The Assistant Dean for Assessment, Compliance and Evaluation is responsible for overseeing and leading the w88 online game of Engineering’s efforts in assessment, compliance and evaluation. This position ensures that the w88 online game meets accreditation standards, maintains continuous improvement of academic programs, ensures compliance with policies and supports diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The Assistant Dean works collaboratively with faculty, staff and University leadership to enhance educational outcomes, comply with regulatory requirements and promote a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Assessment management:
  • Oversee the w88 online game’s assessment processes, ensuring alignment with Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) accreditation requirements.
  • Lead the coordination and submission of program responses for ABET reviews and manage the w88 online game’s NevadaBox site for accreditation documentation.
  • Chair the w88 online game of Engineering Assessment Committee and work with academic departments to ensure compliance with institutional and programmatic assessment standards.
  • Manage the core objective reverification process and the fundamental proficiency assessments in Watermark.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for ABET and NWCCU activities for the w88 online game and represent the w88 online game on University-wide assessment and core curriculum committees.
  • Provide assessment reports to w88 online game leadership and the University as needed, ensuring that assessment methods are innovative, efficient, and meet evolving accreditation standards.
• Compliance:
  • Resolve conflicts regarding student issues, assist w88 online game with filing student misconduct charges and support Disability Resource Center (DRC) accommodation compliance.
  • Lead and ensure w88 online game compliance with policies, monitor for new policy updates and oversee faculty adherence to required training, including Title IX, accessibility, web security and conflict-of-interest reporting.
• Evaluation:
  • Lead the data collection and analysis efforts that inform the w88 online game’s evaluation of academic programs, student success and DEI initiatives.
  • Serve as a system administrator for assessment software, particularly Watermark, and ensure that w88 online game and staff are trained in its use.
  • Participate in the w88 online game Courses and Curriculum Committee (CCCC) and contribute to curriculum development based on evaluation outcomes.
  • Prepare and present data on demographic trends for internal reporting and public display on the w88 online game's website.
• Supervision and w88 online game:
  • Supervise the Engineering lecturer team and the Director of Career Services, including setting annual goals, conducting evaluations and fostering professional development.
  • Collaborate with w88 online game on teaching innovation and improvement, including the organization of events.

  • Lead initiatives to develop inclusive teaching strategies and address diversity issues within academic programs.
