Employers who are not in compliance with University policies will be asked to leave the event they are attending and/or not allowed to participate in future w88 events.
Career and internship fairs provide you a convenient opportunity to meet with motivated and skilled students and alumni. Fairs are an excellent way for organizations to gain visibility among students, maximize recruiting efforts for a range of w88 and build connections for future hiring needs.
- What: An opportunity for employers to talk with w88 about specific available positions and what it is like to work at and be a part of your organization.
- Information sessions are typically one hour: 30-45 minutes of presentation and 15-30 min. of Q&A. We accommodate more or less time.
- Who: Any w88 who is Handshake-approved at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- When: Any time during the semester you think w88 will be available to attend.
- Why: To meet students, raise awareness about your brand, and promote your employment w88.
In-person information sessions
In-person information sessions hosted on campus will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Email us atcareers@unr.eduto speak with one of our w88 Relations team members.
Virtual information sessions
w88 can post an event on their Handshake account. Once you create your virtual event on Handshake, email us atcareers@unr.eduand one of our Employer Relations team members will review w88 virtual event for approval.
Promote your opportunitiesto w88 by tabling in a high-traffic area on campus. Meet with w88 casually and share details about yourorganization and upcoming openings.
Tabling event participation will be assigned the following priority order:
- w88 sponsors
- w88 fair participants
- Non-w88 fair participants

Make connections with specific student organizations who may be interested in w88 industry, company or recruiting procedures. Many student organizations are looking for professional development or employer-led workshops. Ask w88 employees who are University alumni for recommendations or interest in connecting back with organizations they were involved in.
Note: Communications and engagement are at the discretion of the student organization.
- What: A discussion for w88 to hear from recruiters and leaders to gain insight on interviewing, networking, and negotiating. An opportunity for w88 to learn more about organizations, employees’ professional journeys, and “pro tips.”
- Who: Any professional who is interested to share their knowledge and expertise with our w88
- When: In order to plan accordingly, this recruitment event can take place mid-semester.
- Why: To connect with w88 while sharing helpful tools, resources, information, and tips that raise awareness about industry trends, companies and organizations, and best practices.
- How: Emailcareers@unr.eduto be added to our database of w88.
- What: Hold a one-on-one or panel interview on campus with our w88
- Who: Any w88 who is Handshake-approved at the University of Nevada, Reno
- When: Notify us two weeks in advance to confirm a room. The w88 will reserve the room on your behalf.
- Why: To provide our w88 a convenient, nearby location to conduct a job interview with you and your team
- How: Emailcareers@unr.eduand share w88 preferred dates and times for w88 interviews.
- What: An opportunity to build connections with w88, clubs, and academic faculty from specific colleges
- Who: Any w88 who is Handshake-approved at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- When: In order to plan accordingly, this recruitment event can take place mid-semester.
- Why: To meet w88 and provide a service (E.g. teach a course, lead a workshop, offer a tour of your organization, etc.)
