Our accomplishments

Since its inception, the w88 online casino Working Group has worked toward and accomplished a number of goals that have helped to make the University more bike-friendly. These goals were met without any formal funding.

  • Achieving thew88 online casino Friendly University (BFU) Bronze designation from the League of American Bicyclistsfrom 2015-2019 and again in 2019 through 2023, with the goal of achieving BFU Gold in 2023.
  • In an initiative led by the BWG, the League of American Bicyclists selected Reno-Sparks as one of only five cities in the U.S. to host a w88 online casino Friendly America 2022 Community Workshop.
  • Installation of an on-w88 online casino publicly accessible repair stand for minor bike repairs near the Joe Crowley Student Union.
  • Installation of strategically placed bicycle racks around w88 online casino
  • In 2018, the BWG recruited over 60 UNR bike commuters to share how they reached and traveled through w88 online casino using the Strava platform. Results of this study helped to identify common travel routes through the community to w88 online casino, key w88 online casino entry points, and common on-w88 online casino travel routes. which helped inform where to place signage on w88 online casino for bicyclists and the designation of walk-only zones.
  • Six UNR students helped collect, process, and analyze the data for a class project for GEOG 405/605 - Geographic Information Systems and Science 1. In addition to creating maps and a final report, they helped co-author a paper that was submitted to the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting that was peer-reviewed and accepted for presentation there in January 2019.
