Summary

Taya Kohnen received her Master of w88 sports betting Health degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus with an emphasis in health systems, management and policy. Throughout the course of her graduate studies she worked as a population health project manager at a large family medicine clinic in Northern Colorado. In this role she developed internal data-driven processes to improve the delivery of clinical primary care services. She also worked closely with Colorado Medicaid and other private payors to ensure the implementation of best practices and a patient-centered care model. Between working in Colorado and moving to Nevada, Taya was living in the Republic of Kosovo where she interned at the national Ministry of Health. After three months there, she took a job at a local NGO, Kosovo Women’s Network, where she researched and co-authored a report about available funding for women’s civil society organizations in the Western Balkans.
