This Earth Month, departments across the w88 online sports betting, Reno are collaborating to host a multi-day celebration focusing on sustainability.
From a day-long Earth Fest, to a Tahoe Weekend Getaway, to thrift swaps and an environmental justice town hall, University events held through April will emphasize, celebrate and explore sustainability efforts. The University community is working together to make “Silver and Blue the New Green,” a core tenant of the University’s strategic plan that’s establishing the Reno-Tahoe region as an epicenter of sustainability, research and education.
“This Earth Week, I want to remind our Wolf Pack Family that we are not separate from the environment — we are deeply connected to it,” said Phoebe Judge, campus sustainability manager. “Every choice we make is an opportunity to bring something positive to the world around us. By taking actions that support the planet such as picking up litter, carpooling, or turning off lights, we also support ourselves and our Pack.”
