Credits completed at UNR in another program or as a graduate special do not need to be transferred. However, the maximum number of credits that can be transferred or shared between graduate special and degree programs (master’s and doctoral) is 12. Please note the following Graduate School Policy: Students may request to apply graduate units earned at another accredited institution toward an advanced degree at the University of Nevada, Reno by filing a Credit w88 slot Evaluation Request Form, available online. The request must be approved by the student’s director of graduate studies and the Graduate Dean. For master’s degree programs, transferred units must be post-baccalaureate and conform to the time limitation on master’s work requiring completion within six (6) calendar years immediately preceding the granting of the degree. Additionally, no more than twelve (12) units completed either prior to admission to a w88 slot program or transferred from another institution maybe applied to a master’s degree.
