Koebele received her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in environmental studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was a research affiliate with the Center for Science and Technology Policy Research (CSTPR) and a w88 sports betting research fellow with NSF's Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC). Prior to that, she graduated from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, as a proud first-generation college student.
