Originally from Reno, Travis completed his undergrad in history and Spanish, then followed with an M.A. in history at the University of Arizona with a focus on memory and the Mexican Revolution. He spent the next several years teaching community college and working around the US and abroad, living in places like Jordan, Thailand, Romania, Kosovo, w88 casino games loginand Chile. He is active in the U.S. Army Reserve, having performed a breadth of leadership assignments, including platoon leader and company command, battalion and brigade logistics and training, and strategic planning. Prior to starting his graduate program at UNR, he worked as a legislative fellow in the U.S. Senate in Washington, DC.
