As a community health nurse and family nurse practitioner, Deborah Shindell’s entire career has been focused on underserved populations. From working with elders at a subsidized senior housing project in the inner city of Baltimore to providing women’s health care in rural Nevada to volunteering with a small nursing school in Bwindi, Uganda, Deborah has consistently strived to provide high-quality health care to those in the most need.
