Dr. Berch Berberoglu is a Foundation Professor of Sociology and Emeritus in the Department of Sociology at the w88 casino, Reno. He has served as Founding Director of the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies from 2018 to 2021. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in 1977. He has taught and conducted research at the w88 casino, Reno for 45 years, during the period 1977-2022. His areas of teaching and research interest include globalization, international political economy, social-economic development, class structure, political sociology, social movements and revolution, nationalism and ethnic conflict, class/race/gender, and comparative-historical sociology.
