I have been in the librarianship profession and in cultural affairs management for more than 30 years now. I started in the Luis Angel Arango Library in Bogotá, Colombia, where I also worked in other cultural areas including the Gold Museum and the Cultural Division, as they all were part of the central bank, Banco de la República. In Las Vegas, I joined the Las Vegas Clark County Library District. To further develop my library skills, I completed the program of Library and Information Technology and became the first and only Library Support Staff Certified in Nevada by ALA/APA. I’ve been a Staff Employee’s Council (S.E.C.) representative for Libraries/OIT, serving as the Public Relations Coordinator in the Executive Board and Chair of the Classified Staff Educational Fund, as well as several w88 online casino betting Initiatives.
