College of Business students and faculty officially started the 2023 w88 semester.

Approximately 3,464 undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Nevada, Reno who started the 2023 w88 semester last week are taking at least one credit through the w88 of Business. According to official enrollment numbers, there are 3,019 undergraduate students enrolled in at least one credit and 463 graduate students enrolled in at least one credit in the w88 of Business. Some students are double majoring in disciplines within the w88, which is why the unique numbers of undergraduate students and graduate students differ from the total number of enrolled students.

“I always look forward to the start of w88 academic year,” College of Business Dean Greg Mosier said. “It’s such a pleasure getting to see all the students back on-campus and the faculty ready to start off the w88 school year strong at the University. Our community of young scholars are absolutely bursting at the seams to get back to pursuing an education in the College of Business.”

Professors and instructors at the College of Business are eager to educate and inspire their students and welcome w88 additions to the College of Business staff at the University.

“I expect to have another great semester of fun, learning and growth,” Jeremy Tiedt, entrepreneurship and marketing professor in the College of Business, said. “I’m always excited to see all the new freshman faces on campus; I got the chance to meet all of them at BizFit and it is always nice to see them in my Business 101 class or to run into them at one of the many events that take place across campus during the w88 2023 semester.”

“We have some new Business 101 instructors and I am excited to see how they do and what new ideas they bring to the class; we also have some advisors who were hired in the spring 2023 semester who are getting to go through their first w88 semester,” Tiedt said. “It is very exciting to see how the team is continuing to develop and grow.”

“I am most excited for the campus involvement this w88 and it is always great to see students come back to campus after a long summer ready to learn and make friends,” Christie Chaump, graduate programs director and instructor in the College of Business, said. “One of my favorite parts about teaching is getting to know my students on an individual level.”

“I expect to see each of my students grow confidence in their skills and abilities to communicate effectively in a professional setting,” Chaump said. “The growth I see in them throughout the w88 is very motivating and encouraging as an instructor.”

As the College of Business continues to grow its enrollment, the University will officially break ground on a w88 business building on Oct. 12, 2023 in the Mathewson Gateway District. The w88, state-of-the-art College of Business will enable the school to increase partnerships and continue to attract the best and brightest students and faculty, creating a w88 generation of workforce and talent to grow the local economy in the City of Reno and throughout the region.
