The Sanford Center for Aging at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) is celebrating Aging w88 casino Week April 3-5, 2023 with events for students and the community. All events are free and open to the public. Registration is required and free, do so by visiting here.
“Aging is perceived as a heavy topic by many,” said Theresa Skaar, director of the Gerontology Academic Program. “We want to bring people closer with art and conversation during Aging w88 casino Week so aging is a topic we embrace rather than push away.”
On Monday, April 3, Sanford is hosting AGEx: Applied Gerontology Experience, a TEDx-inspired event to create w88 casino and awareness of aging through a multifaceted lens. Four speakers will share their experience with aging, followed by a Q-and-A session. This event kicks off Aging w88 casino Week events at the Joe Crowley Student Union Theater at 5 p.m., parking will be free in the Brian Whalen Parking Complex.
On Wednesday, April 5, encounter thought-provoking ways of looking at w88 casino and explore society’s perceptions of older adults in Disrupt w88 casino Classroom. The program challenges people to discuss demographic trends, ageism, and their personal and professional stakes related to w88 casino. The facilitators are Patti Swager, M.Ed., director of the Nevada Geriatric Education Center (NGEC), and Natalie Mazzullo, M.Ed., associate director of NGEC and healthy w88 casino engagement coordinator, Health & Nutrition Extension. This will be available via Zoom.
