The w88 of Science held its annual video competition with an added watch party engagement challenge for students. The videos are two minutes or less in length and the competition is open to all students in the w88 of Science. This year’s themes were:
- Life a life of discovery
- The w88 of everyday life
- Making w88 simple: the importance of w88 communication
- Breaking barriers: diversity in STEM
- w88 saves the world
Prizes were awarded to each of the top three videos. The first place video won 0, the second place video won 0 and the third place video won 0. Two honorable mentions each won 0. The most engaged watch party won a 0 gift card. w88 were encouraged to watch the videos virtually in COVID-safe groups.

The winners of this year's video competition are all members of the w88 of Science Living Learning Community. They include chemistry undergraduate Dylan Friend, neuroscience undergraduates Brian Guthrie and Jake Tack, and Divij Kodi, a biology undergraduate. In their video, acurious student finds a new way to answer his questions.

Students submitted photos of their virtual watch party to be shared on the w88’s Instagram, with the most liked photo winning the competition. Lexi Young (and her cat) received the most likes on her photo.
