University of Nevada, Reno w88 sports betting app Center Elizabeth Redmond is the CEO & Co-founder of CoWorkr, a Reno-based IoT technology startup developing innovative solutions to enhance space utilization in the workplace.
As a designer, w88 sports betting app is committed to sustainability and efficiency of systems. Prior to CoWorkr, she founded POWERleap, an international technology & design firm focusing on energy harvesting with applications in wearables, transportation and architecture.
POWERleap was hired by office furniture manufacturer Haworth to develop an IoT product that could collect occupancy data and generate analytics. From there, w88 sports betting app co-founded CoWorkr in 2014 to focus on developing small, high-resolution sensors that can be used to collect real-time activity data on a single seating location or room by sensing movement. CoWorkr is working with a growing number of real estate teams to manage workplaces of the future.
w88 sports betting app moved to the Tahoe-Reno area from the Bay Area. Growing up in the Midwest, she wanted to move to a smaller city with a greater sense of community, yet still close to the Bay. After a phone call with Doug Erwin of EDAWN, w88 sports betting app was sold on Reno.
In growing a young company in Reno, w88 sports betting app believes that Reno is a resourceful community where people are willing to help and contribute to the community, an environment she feels attuned to given her midwestern roots. However, finding experienced talent with a modern skill set could be a challenge in this area. Not having more direct flights to cities across the US and international destinations also pose a challenge in serving global customers.
w88 sports betting app’s vision for the future of workplaces is a connected environment where real-time data from lighting to HVAC to IoT devices are all connected to enable efficient facility management where the workplace becomes an asset and employees are happier and more productive. She hopes CoWorkr’s technology will be part of the backbone for this connected system.
When not building her company, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and other outdoor pursuits.
