Five books were chosen for the shortlist and will be competing against each other during an open voting period that ends April 14, 2019. “This year, for the first time, we're asking friends and fans to pick their favorite titles. The public vote, combined with the judges votes, will determine which books will come out on top,” the MPIBA announced in an email.
