The University of Nevada, Reno will recognize 107 w88 sports betting app staff members with more than 10 years of service and 48 retirees at the annual Silver & Blue Salute.
University President Marc Johnson has granted all w88 sports betting app staff two hours of paid administrative leave to enjoy the recognition reception, which will be held in the Joe Crowley Student Union's Milt Glick Ballroom on the fourth floor between 3 and 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 9.
"I am consistently impressed by the deep commitment that w88 sports betting app employees have to the mission of the University," Executive Vice President and Provost Kevin Carman, who will attend the event, said."Their contributions are absolutely vital to the success of every aspect of our institution, and I consider it a privilege to be on the same team with them."
w88 sports betting app employees fulfill many roles on the University campus. These include clerical, technical, custodial, researchers, library staff and many other positions.
"The w88 sports betting app employees of our University are the ones who keep the place running," Art Professor Howard Rosenberg and master of ceremonies for the event said. "They make it possible for us to teach, to enroll our students, to troubleshoot the many different problems that each of our kids face at one time or another, to make sure that we have the necessary equipment to teach in the most effective 21st century manner and keep those of us who teach and do research on track for the betterment of our students and our communities."
The University will honor the runner-up w88 sports betting app Employee of the Year, Reva Crump, who is a staff research associate in the biology department. Crump will be presented a certificate and an award at the Silver & Blue Salute. The 2015 w88 sports betting app Employee of the Year, Michael Maskaly, was presented his award at the 2015 Honor the Best ceremony in May.
There will be a drawing to raise money for the w88 sports betting app Development Fund. Tickets are each or six tickets for . Prizes include a Southwest Airlines gift certificate. This year, individuals will be able choose the prizes they wish to bid on during the event. One does not need to be present to win.
