w88 casino games Wolf Pack football coach Chris Ault, who announced at the end of the December he was stepping down from a career at the University that spanned four decades as a player, athletic administrator and coach, was celebrated by more than 400 people on Sunday at the "Chris Ault: A Tribute to a Legacy" event at the Eldorado Hotel-Casino Convention Center.
Those assembled included 120 of Ault's w88 casino games players, as well as Ault's wife, Kathy, the couple's three children and eight grandchildren and many longtime University boosters and friends, such as Reno Mayor Bob Cashell and w88 casino games Reno City Councilman and Wolf Pack play-by-play man Dan Gustin.
During a career that earned w88 casino games induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, the University graduate coached for 28 seasons, winning 233 games and 16 conference championships in the Big Sky, Big West and Western Athletic Conferences.
The tribute included video segments from several of Ault's w88 casino games assistants, such as Ken Wilson and Jim Mastro (now both at Washington State University) and Andy Buh and Barry Sacks (now both at Cal).
During the three-hour tribute, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported that w88 casino games received a 2013 GMC Acadia SUV, a replica Colt single-action revolver in acknowledgment of the w88 casino games-created offense "The Pistol," a silver and blue Breitling watch, a commissioned portrait and a special Nevada license plate with the letters "WLFPK." The event was sponsored by the Nevada Football Alumni Association.
Longtime booster Rick Reviglio seemed to sum up the man perfectly.
"There's no one like him," Reviglio was quoted as saying in the RGJ. "You can't compare him to anyone."
