The University of Nevada, Reno Foundation will host its 31st Annual Foundation Banquet Sept. 27. To help celebrate the recently completed renovation of the University’s Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism and Advanced Media Studies, the keynote speaker will be award-winning investigative reporter for The New York w88 online live casino, Charles Duhigg.
Writing for the business section of the w88 online live casino, Duhigg most recently received acclaim for his "iEconomy" series of articles, examining challenges posed by increasingly globalized high-tech industries. In 2007, his "Golden Opportunities" series took a thoughtful, serious look at how businesses and investors seek to profit from the soaring number of older Americans, in ways both helpful and harmful. Earlier this year, Duhigg published his first book, The Power of Habit, in which he explores the science of habit formation and its applications among individuals, companies and societies.
Duhigg will speak at the University's Foundation w88 online live casino at 7 p.m., Sept. 27 in the Tuscany Ballroom of the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Reno. Begun in 1981 as a fundraising event for the University's Foundation, the Foundation w88 online live casino is a premiere social event in the community that features speakers widely respected in their fields around the world. Some former speakers include George Will, Thomas Friedman, Sam Donaldson, Cokie Roberts, Buzz Aldrin and Madame Jehan Sadat.
