Provost Heather Hardy recently announced that Jerry Buk, Southern Area director of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, has accepted the offer to become w88 mobile dean and director of UNCE.
Buk will assume his duties Aug. 23 when w88 mobile Karen Hinton steps down after serving as w88 mobile and director since 1998.
Buk has 35 years of experience in Cooperative Extension in a variety of leadership roles in both rural and urban settings and in three states.
He has served as the Southern Area w88 mobile since 2010, and before that as the Central/Northeast Area w88 mobile from 1997 to 2010.
