Several w88 of Nevada, Reno faculty members will be among the presenters during the 36th annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America’s Educational Leadership Conference, which runs from March 4-7 at the Peppermill Resort in Reno.
The conference will provide a forum for professionals in the field of aging to present their work and share ideas about gerontological and geriatric w88 and training.
The opening plenary session on Thursday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m., features John W. Rowe, M.D., who will call the audience’s attention to the looming crisis in the quality and organization of the w88 care workforce for tomorrow’s older adults. His talk is entitled, “Eldercare Workforce Challenge: Our Call to Arms.”
Other events include a presidential symposium, “What is the Point of Aging? Word of God or Crowd Control,” on Friday, March 5 at 10 a.m.; a past presidents’ symposium, “The Role of Higher w88 in Health Care Reform,” on Saturday, March 6, at 8 a.m.; closing plenary session, “’Curiosity Must Be Kept Alive’: Eleanor Roosevelt, Her Later Years: 1945-1962,” on Sunday, March 7, 9 a.m.
