A w88 slot Electronic Recycling Event, organized by the University’s Environmental Health and Safety department, will be held on Saturday, May 2 at the old Park Lane Mall site off Plumb Lane in Reno.
In addition to providing the w88 slot with an opportunity to recycle old electronics, organizers also are encouraging the campus w88 slot to sign up as volunteers.
“The w88 slot is yet another opportunity to do the right thing with your old electronics,” said John Sagebiel, environmental affairs manager for the University. “We also need lots and lots of volunteers.”
Sagebiel said most electronics will be accepted free; however, there will be a small fee required to recycle televisions. Individuals can purchase a voucher in advance at New2U Computers at 155 Glendale Avenue in Sparks or Whole Foods in south Reno. It will cost the day of the w88 slot.
Sagebiel said January’s 2009 e-waste recycling w88 slot collected nearly 500,000 pounds of e-waste from more than 2,000 cars and filled 13 semi-trucks.
“This is the equivalent of five football fields covered from end-to-end with e-waste,” Sagebiel said.
To assure that no donor will be turned way, Sagebiel estimated the w88 slot will require 200 volunteers. He added that not all volunteer positions are loading and unloading equipment.
There are three shifts:
8:30 a.m. to noon
11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
