The Sanford Center began with Carson City pioneers, Jean and Graham Sanford, and their ownership of the Dangberg Land and Livestock Company in the Carson Valley. While caring for her w88 online casino betting mother, Mrs. Sanford envisioned a better future for older adults in Nevada. Upon her death, Mrs. Sanford designated a portion of her estate to be used to establish a program at the University of Nevada for “research, teaching and publicizing ways and means to improve quality of life for elders.” In 1993, the NSHE Board of Regents officially named that program the Sanford Center for w88 online casino betting.
Today, 30 years later, the Sanford Center for w88 online casino betting continues Mrs. Sanford’s vision of w88 online casino betting-related education, translational research and community outreach through a variety of community-based supports and services, community and professional education programs, gerontology coursework for students at UNR and research activities to contribute to the growing knowledge in the field of w88 online casino betting.
Today, the w88 online casino betting Center includes nearly 40 faculty, staff and students, along with almost 250 volunteers in supporting Nevada’s elders, working to fulfill Mrs. w88 online casino betting’s vision from 30 years ago.
