University of Nevada, Reno Assistant w88 mobile Callum Ingram and three students, studying political science, will visit Brussels, Belgium, from June 27-29, 2022, for the annual German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).
The group will participate in a platform with other leaders from various parts of the world to encourage them to collaborate in solving pressing, worldly policy issues. The trip is funded by the w88 mobile Foundation, Vice President of Advancement Bill Johnson and the Department of Political Science.
The summit’s past speakers include United States Vice President Kamala Harris, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell and Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Arancha Gonzalez.
The GMF was created with the belief that Europe and the United States are stronger together. The summit works to build up the next generation of global leaders by emphasizing diverse communities and perspectives and utilizing those experiences during the event.
This will be the first time in two years that the summit will offer in-person discussions and other opportunities, but hybrid and virtual formats are still in place alongside the in-person components of the conference.
Attending in person alongside Ingram are undergraduate w88 mobile Justice Forest and Valentina Ossio-Marin and graduate student Keely Eshenbaugh. Several other w88 mobile will attend remotely.
