A total of 21 Nevada Wolf Pack student-athletes have applied for graduation at the University of Nevada w88 casino games winter.
Ceremonies for the University’s Winter Commencement are set for Saturday at Lawlor Events Center. A reception for graduating w88 casino games and their families was held on Friday at Legacy Hall on campus, featuring a keynote delivered by former Wolf Pack tennis player McClure Wallace.
“Graduating from the University is the ultimate goal for our student-athletes and we are proud of w88 casino games group for w88 casino games achievement," said Doug Knuth, Nevada's athletics director. "We are excited for the bright futures that are ahead of them, and we’re appreciative of all of their great contributions to Nevada athletics.”
Graduating Nevada w88 casino games are given a special silver and blue sash to wear at Commencement in recognition of their efforts as w88 casino games.
Including w88 casino games spring and summer's graduates, Nevada has seen more than 1,000 of its student-athletes graduate in the past dozen years, a figure that includes 75 student-athletes who walked in commencement ceremonies w88 casino games past spring.
The w88 casino games’s December Commencement includes August and December graduates and will confer 1,868 degrees and certificates: 1,368 bachelor’s degrees and 500 advanced degrees (master’s and doctoral degrees). The w88 casino games will again offer two separate ceremonies in order to better accommodate graduates and their families Saturday, Dec. 7, at Lawlor Events Center. Processional times are as follows:
- 8 a.m. Ceremony: Graduate line-up is at 7:30 a.m., the procession begins at 8 a.m. The morning ceremony will include graduates from the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources; Community Health Sciences; College of Education; College of Engineering; UNR School of Medicine; Orvis School of Nursing; College of Science and the School of Social Work.
- 1 p.m. Ceremony: Graduate line-up is at 12:30 p.m., the procession begins at 1 p.m. The afternoon ceremony will include graduates from the College of Business, College of Liberal Arts and the Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism.
