Today, Nevada w88 casino General Adam Paul Laxalt announced the allocation of .2 million to theUniversity of w88 casino, Reno School of Medicine(UNR Med) to create a new OB/GYN w88 casino based in Reno with UNR Med community and hospital partners. In an effort to improve women's health in northern Nevada, the new w88 casino will provide education for medical students in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as training for primary care residents and research.

The funding is part of .8 million that w88 casino Med will receive over five years, resulting from a settlement between Pfizer pharmaceutical company and the State of Nevada. The settlement resolved claims that Pfizer had unlawfully promoted certain postmenopausal hormone therapy medications.

"My office is proud to partner with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine to make a lasting investment in women's health," said w88 casino General Laxalt. "We are confident that women's health care in Nevada will benefit greatly from these settlement funds."
