Five Wolf Pack athletes recognized for w88 casino success

Five members of the Nevada track & w88 casino team, along with the team itself, have garnered all-academic honors from the U.S. Track and w88 casino and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Representing the Wolf Pack on this year's list were freshman Katia Coquis Lossio and juniors Alyssa Zunino, Kinsey Minter, Emily Myers and Alison Powers. The group of five were among 838 women from 207 institutions to earn the w88 casino honor.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA all-academic track and w88 casino team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met at least one of the following athletic standards:

-For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.

-For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).

Minnesota led all institutions with 18 honorees and the top conference was the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with 99 female honorees.

Along with the individual recognition, the team as a whole was honored with being one of this year's w88 casino all-academic teams. A total of 224 women's teams earned the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Nevada collected a 3.36 GPA for the 2014-15 academic year. Lipscomb posted the highest GPA among the women's teams at 3.74.
