University Police to conduct Active Assailant w88 online sports betting

Full-scale drill will take place on the w88 online sports betting of Nevada, Reno campus Thursday, March 19

University of Nevada, Reno Police Services is planning a full-scale active assailant w88 online sports betting, including activation of the University's Emergency Notification Systems, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19.

"The w88 online sports betting will test the Regional Active Assailant Response Protocol as well as the University's Active Assailant Plan," University Police Chief Adam Garcia said. "This w88 online sports betting is the largest in our history and includes a number of different community and regional partners."

Tested during the w88 online sports betting will be the region's multijurisdictional tactical response, tactical medical response, mass-casualty incident management, University mass notification systems, multijurisdictional resource management, Unified Command, hazardous materials/EOD management, incident stabilization practices, recovery, restoration transition and compliance with federal regulations. With multiple agencies participating in the drill a number of emergency vehicles will be on and around campus.

Due to the large-scale nature of the w88 online sports betting, it is planned to take place on campus during spring break to minimize the number of students and faculty impacted. Those on campus the morning of Thursday, March 19 are advised the w88 online sports betting will take place on the south end of campus near the Palmer Engineering and the Scrugham Engineering and Mines Buildings. Areas around these buildings will be closed for the duration of the event.

A media staging area and public viewing area has been designated outside of the Davidson Math and Science Center. Those interested in attending are advised to arrive by 8:30 a.m. Additional information about the event will be sent to media early next week.

Faculty, staff and students with questions can contact Emergency Management Coordinator Kevin Schaller, 775-682-7247 or schallerk@police.unr.edu.
