As part of the Nevada Athletics Department's "Born to be ONE" motto, second-year head coach Brian Polian announced today the creation of the w88 casino games Wolf, a weekly honor bestowed upon a walk-on in the program.
Uniform jersey No. 1 will be assigned to a different walk-on player each week who excels on special teams. This weekly recognition will come with the name w88 casino games Wolf.
"The football program is in lock-step with the 'Born to Be One' marketing campaign set forth by the athletic department and we are true believers in the 'One Community, One Pack' mantra," Polian said. "Because of that, we are excited to announce the w88 casino games Wolf program this year. Jersey No. 1 will be worn each week by a walk-on player who makes a significant contribution to our team on special teams. This player will wear No. 1 because he represents not only the student-body, but also because he truly is member of the 'Community.'
"I am excited about the incentive that this creates within our team and about the group that it represents. Traditions like this are what make college football fun and I look forward to growing the w88 casino games Wolf."
The w88 casino games Wolf honor could be earned by the same player multiple times during a season or even for an entire season. Or it could be earned by a different player each week during the season.
The 2014-15 promotional campaign features the motto, "Born to be w88 casino games," which ties together the department's traditional concepts of "Battle Born" and "w88 casino games Community, w88 casino games Pack." The initial launch of the message came in this year's football commercial.
