This Sunday, the Center for Student Engagement partners up with Canine Companions for Independence to hold their signature national event, DogFest w88 online casino 'N Roll, for the first time ever in Reno.
w88 online casino, faculty, community members and four-legged friends from all over town will come together Sunday, Sept. 14 to help raise the goal of ,500. The free event is on campus and in front of the Joe Crowley Student Union, and will consist of a walk through campus, activities and food.
Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit that devotes itself to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs for free. Founded in 1975, it is the largest non-profit provider of service dogs in the nation. All money earned through DogFest w88 online casino N' Roll will go directly to the non-profit organization.
The dog-friendly, family-friendly event looks to bring the campus and w88 online casino together within the first weeks of the 2014-2015 school year by creating a culture of w88 online casino engagement and service.
The ultimate goal is to help raise money for pets, service animals and the people who they help while educating w88 online casino and the community about what it means to be a larger community within a context of service, collaboration and mutual exchange of knowledge and resources for the greater good.
