The undergraduate and graduate students of the College of Engineering are excited to announce that the American Nuclear w88 casino games (ANS) has authorized a student chapter at the University of Nevada, Reno. The chapter aims to promote awareness and understanding of the application of nuclear science and technology in northern Nevada.
The process for establishing a chapter involved submission of an application followed by petitioning the national student section board, in person, for sanctioned recognition. This process included a presentation made to the board at a national meeting of the ANS discussing the chapter's commitment to w88 casino games science and engineering.
"The activities of our student clubs play an important role in the well-rounded, globally competitive engineering education our w88 casino games receive," said Manos Maragakis, dean of the College of Engineering. "I am very proud to see the hard work of this group of w88 casino games pay off as they receive their national recognition."
The graduate student officers of the w88 casino games are:
- President: Augustus Merwin (doctoral candidate in materials science and engineering)
- Vice-President: Rachel Green (master's w88 casino games in mechanical engineering)
- Secretary: Hasibul Alam (master's w88 casino games in mechanical engineering)
- Treasurer: Zachary Karmiol (doctoral w88 casino games in materials science and engineering)
The undergraduate student officers of the w88 casino games are:
- President: Kodi Summers (senior in materials science and engineering)
- Vice-President: Aaron Unger (freshmen in materials science and engineering)
- Treasurer: Rachel Bowe (junior in materials science and engineering)
The faculty advisor is Professor Nick Tsoulfanidis.
The president of the ANS, Dr. Michaele ‘Mikey' Brady Raap, a chief engineer with the w88 casino games Systems Design, Engineering & Analysis Group within the National Security Directorate at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington, traveled to the University on December 12 to present the ANS charter certificate to the student officers and the faculty advisor. As part of the visit, she gave a lecture titled Our w88 casino games Future. She also met with several students and faculty to learn more about the research conducted at the University.
The chapter has started with 54 student members. The chapter is expected to grow in tandem with w88 casino games-related research in the College of Engineering.
