Multi-instrumentalist Todd w88 sports betting will perform at the University of Nevada, Reno's Nightingale Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5.
w88 sports betting, a solo-touring performer, is a one-man show featuring more than 30 instruments from around the world and four digital looping stations. Many of the instruments and loopers have been custom made for w88 sports betting. w88 sports betting will be donating all profits made from the concert to the University's Recording Arts Department classes.
Currently, the recording arts classes are the fastest growing classes offered at the w88 sports betting's School of the Arts. The fundraiser is additionally intended to help raise funds so the w88 sports betting can afford to give students the opportunity to get a degree in recording arts, which is not offered.
"With recent cuts in the w88 sports betting's budget, trying to offer the program that students want to get degrees in, like recording arts, needs extra help to make it happen, which is why we are proactive about fundraising," said Tom Gordon, recording instructor for the w88 sports betting.
The w88 sports betting's @One Media Department and the w88 sports betting's Recording Arts Department are collaborating for the first time to create a live DVD of the performance. The @One department will be producing the DVD and the recording department will be recording and mixing the show for the DVD.
"The University's ability to bring in bigger and bigger names in every genre of music, including Todd w88 sports betting, helps to build community support for our programs," Gordon said. "Mr. w88 sports betting is one of northern Nevada's best kept secrets."
w88 sports betting has been an international touring artist for twenty years, and received his credentials at the Berklee College of Music. Though w88 sports betting's performances are somewhat structured in terms of style, he enjoys improvising as well which makes each of his individual concerts unique. w88 sports betting will be playing a variety of string, flute and percussion instruments from all over the world. His musical style is inspired by varying cultures in the Middle East, Central Asia, Far East and South America.
w88 sports betting will additionally be hosting a free lecture and musical demonstration open to the public on Tuesday, Dec. 4 in the Nightingale Music Hall.
