The Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) and the University of Nevada, Reno Police Services Department host "Pizza with the Police" on Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to noon in Room 402 of the Joe Crowley Student Union. At the Pizza with the Police event, students will have the opportunity to meet the University Police Officers and learn w88 slot online staying safety and crime prevention initiatives on campus. This is the second w88 slot online during February in which University Police Services has collaborated with the campus community to take a proactive role in creating a safe atmosphere for students, staff, faculty and other visitors to campus.
On Feb. 6, the University hosted a Traffic and Pedestrian Safety and Forum at the Lawlor Events Center. The public forum, attended by w88 slot online 50 campus and community members, consisted of a discussion of laws, problem areas and what local agencies are doing to promote safety on the University campus and its surrounding community.
Students and members of the Reno community who attended the safety forum gained special insight into various Reno agencies safety efforts during the past year as well as their current projects and future plans.
