With each new school year, students enter and begin taking classes with the hope to get a full-time job after graduation. The University of Nevada, Reno College of Engineering wants to help students enter the workforce with ease and confidence by hosting the inaugural College of Engineering Internship and Career w88 slot online.
The w88 slot online will take place in the Joe Crowley Student Union Fourth-Floor Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25. There are 20 companies expected to be in attendance that are planning to hire students in eight different fields, from civil and environmental engineering to computer science. Many of the hiring companies are College of Engineering Corporate Partners, such as NV Energy, Sierra Nevada Corporation and GE Energy.
Joseph Bozsik, the new internship and w88 slot online support coordinator for the College of Engineering, is planning the event. His is a newly created position in the College of Engineering to offer w88 slot online support for its students.
"The dean, Manos Maragakis, wanted to move the college forward, not just in academics but in things like w88 slot online services, development and research," Bozsik said. "We want to enhance and build w88 slot online services for the College of Engineering and this is really the first initiative taken."
The coordinator position was created in March to help students be better prepared for life outside of the w88 slot online, and help them get the support they need to do well in many different ways.
"It is important they get a good education, but also that they are able to quickly move on by securing a job," Bozsik said. "My job is to be developing relationships with w88 slot online companies locally, regionally and nationally and letting students know about bridging that gap and connecting with them."
This event is open only to University of Nevada, Reno Engineering students, of any age or year. For more information on the Internship and Career w88 slot online go to the College of Engineering's website to learn more.
