Growing algae for fuel, building artificial skin with nanomaterials, mimicking the creation of high temperature plasma around black holes and figuring out how to make large concrete structures safer during earthquakes are just a few well-known w88 online casino projects under way at the University of Nevada, Reno.

The University conducts w88 online casino in dozens of arenas including medicine, engineering, renewable energy, physics, psychology, agriculture, history, environmental sciences, mining and economics. Hundreds of scientists conduct important w88 online casino such as using innovative mathematical computations to simultaneously simulate functions of a nuclear reactor, recycling radioactive spent nuclear fuel, genetically altering plants to use less water, studying ecosystems at Lake Tahoe and finding and studying new earthquake faults.
“The diversity and breadth of our w88 online casino speaks to our accomplishments as a dynamic w88 online casino institution,” Marsha Read, interim vice president for w88 online casino, said. “A number of our faculty have been recognized for their excellence and creativity in the w88 online casino arena. These are important factors in recruiting and retaining high-caliber faculty and excellent graduate and undergraduate students.”
In 2008 the school was ranked in the top 50 public w88 online casino universities in the United States by The Center for Measuring University Performance, a national w88 online casino center based at Arizona State University that tracks performance of more than 650 w88 online casino universities. The University is also classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a high-w88 online casino-activity university, one of 100 institutions nationwide in this classification, and has ranked nationally in the top 100 for total w88 online casino funding of public w88 online casino universities for the past 10 years.
The University’s w88 online casino program is also key to helping the state’s economy and preparing students to compete in an increasingly competitive knowledge-based world economy, Johnson said.
“Our w88 online casino portfolio is important to our state’s major industries, such as mining, geological and earth resource industries, a wide range of engineering businesses and gaming,” he said. “It’s also important in creating the industries of tomorrow such as renewable energy, which is enjoying a renewed period of growth.”
Current w88 online casino projects in the Renewable Energy Center account for million of the University’s w88 online casino funding, with many more projects in the pipeline for funding this year.
A strong w88 online casino program can also become self-generating for both the University and the economy.
“Look at our new Center for Molecular Medicine that will open in fall 2010,” Johnson said. “It’s funded in large part through the work of University researchers, will further advance our w88 online casino profile and has the potential to spawn new industry which will contribute to the economy.”
One of the University's most prolific researchers, Tom Kozel, a professor in the University of Nevada School of Medicine’s Department of Microbiology and Immunology, is just one example of the depth of w88 online casino done at the University. Among several grants from the National Institutes of Health, his ongoing 31-year grant to study opportunistic infections is one of the longest running NIH awards in the nation. He is a national subject-matter expert in his area of health care interest: microbial pathogenesis.
“The size and success of the w88 online casino enterprise at the University is a key component of the educational program for students at all levels,” Kozel said. “Trainees, from undergraduate freshmen to postdoctoral fellows, benefit from our status as a major w88 online casino university.
